On 24th February 2009, the much awaited Science Day was set to take place. The theme for this year's Science Day was Cosmic Fibre, bringing about the union of two unrelated yet similar objects, the Heaven and the Fabric.
The dignitaries for the event were Mrs.Prabha Nagarajan, Regional Director India, of the Farm Development Program for Organic Exchange Dr.A.Ramesh, HOD Analytical Chemistry, International Institute of Biotechnology & Toxicology,____ and Mr.Kaushik Anand, alumnus of our school, at present studying at IIT Madras A presentation on the other side of the topic, "Space - Chronicles of the Heavens" by Prithvi.V and Harish.K of Class XI was noteworthy. The interactive presentations by the Chief Guests, Dr. Ramesh and Mrs. Prabha Nagarajan on their area of expertise got the audience involved.
Dr.(Mrs.) YGP with her inherent desire for knowledge proved that learning transcends all age barriers. Mr. Kaushik took the stage and succinctly described his life at PSBB & after and the impact that PSBB had in his life. This was followed by the prize distribution for various events right from Quiz to AK Samban Award, from Poster Making to Collage. Science Day celebrations 2009 was yet another wonderful experience.
