Kaushik Anand of Batch 2005-2006 is a name too familiar to the faculty of KKN. The news clipping from "Times of India" dated 18th Jan. 2010 has brought in a lot of cheer to the teachers of KKN. Earlier in the second edition of General Electric's "Edison Challenge", a competition pitting Science students from across the country against each other to find the best technological innovations to provide electricity in rural India, the team comprising of Kaushik Anand & four others from IIT Madras, walked away with the first prize.
