Today 25 years later, it is a colossal institution of international repute. The K.K.Nagar branch of PSBB group of schools has been providing quality education with a view to preparing responsible and service-minded youth, to inculcate a sense of pride in our cultural heritage, to offer the best academic opportunities,to provide excellence in physical, cultural and creative development, to nurture latent talent, to hone communicative skills and to master the cyberspace.
I am very happy to see that the school has developed from a fledgling status to an establishment providing state of the art facilities. With well stocked libraries, the best laboratories and the computer lab and the Maths and Language labs, hands - on training and concept stabilisation are part of the fundamental foundations of an excellent educational environment. Among the many firsts, it was PSBB that introduced Computer literacy from standard I onwards, abolished formal exams that tested memory rather than understanding and application, substituted them with continuous assessments, Cycle tests, abolition of ranks and introduction of recognising all round achievers in academic as well as co-curricular activities. It was one of the first schools to make classical music, dance, drama, yoga and Our Vedic heritage a part of the curriculum.
