A class room is vibrant only if the teachers' fund of knowledge is updated and replenished, the hallmark of a true teacher. Catering to this need, the school's teachers' center was started in 1980 to provide In-service Training to teachers to orient them periodically to progressive and innovative methodologies in the Teaching Learning process with Mrs. Hamsa Ramdas,Sr.Principal K.K.Nagar assuming charge in 1981.Soon the teachers' center spread its wings bringing within its fold not just the PSBB teachers but the teaching community at large.
As one lamp lights another adding brilliance and radiance to the place, the Teachers center ventured to conduct classes for parents at Pre-Primary, Primary and Nursery levels; the Nursery training was a regular Annual course, a Twin Delight, which facilitated the parents to guide their children and also motivated them to qualify themselves to join the teaching faculty of our own school. Even today, the Nursery Training is a regular feature for parents which is conducted as a certificate course.
This neighbourhood school soon drew the attention of the entire neighbourhood registering a phenomenal growth.What was a dream 25 years ago is a tangible reality today. The school in a sprawling campus harbours an incredible strength of over 5000 students. We aspire to conquer greater heights in the field of Holistic Educational Excellence.
