At Vidyasagar (Special School for Spastics Children) nearly 70 children from 15 different schools participated in an inclusive science fair and explained many concepts of science.
Praneeth.N.G, Kaushik.S.H of VIII – C and Sonal Dugar of VII – A along with Kashyap Gopinath and Dinesh(Children with neurological disability) from Vidyasagar demonstrated Science Experiments.
The Experiments were – Chemical Chemeleon, elephant tooth paste and Rocket balloon. Mrs Shanthi Bhattacharya who worked as a Scientist at IIT appreciated the efforts taken by our students. Such collaborative efforts help children develop positive attitudes and perceptions of persons with disabilities. Children became more aware of the needs of special children and they were able to extend their support and concern towards children with special needs.
