• Ramya Murali of IX K , K.K Nagar is the reciepiant of Ugdahi Puraskhar 2002, which carries a scholarship for Bhartanatyam and an award of Rs.6000. She would be reciving the same on 7th April 2002.
• Srividya XII E (1997-98) won the second prize in the Royal Commonwealth Essay Competition. Hundreds of our students have been commended and highly commended with an appealing citation to their credit.
• Surjeet a computer whizkid received his certificate signed by Mr. Bill Gates, CEO,Microsoft, for his impressive score in the online examination. He was first at the National Level in the SEARCC was acclaimed for his commendable performance in Physics in the NSEP contest.
• About 20 of our students have successfully taken up the challenging BEC(Business English Certificate) exams offered by the British Council.
• 175 of our students have creditably cleared the Young Learner's Exam conducted by the British Council.
• About 2000 of our students take the Australian Talent Examination conducted by the University of New South Wales, Australia, every year. They have achieved high levels of excellence in the different tests offered in English , Science , Maths and Computer Science.
• In the Talk Your Way contest held in the city, our students have talked their way to glory. S.Hemamalini spoke her way to America in 1987, Gautam Balakrishnan to Australia in 1994, Aarti Sivaraman to London in 1996, Aishwarya in 2001.
• Praveen Suchinder (1996-2000) was awarded the I prize in the 'On the Spot Stamp Designing Competition ' organized by the Postal Department, Southern Division, his topic being "India in Space in 2025". His design was chosen for the Indian Postage Stamp and was released in a special function organized in Banglore. He received prize money of Rs.5000,a model of a satellite and stamp album.
• Young Music Ambassador(2000-2001): B.Prasanna, XI F1 was selected as Young Music Ambassador for the Cultural Exchange Programme, by the organization "Songs Across the Seas in USA"
• In the International Royal Commonwealth Essay Competitions conducted in England,our students have done us proud. Nandini.S won the highly coveted I prize and a number of interesting and priceless English books as prizes.
